Before beginning each service your BloBar Beauty Pro will disinfect their hands with our special Cool Blue tm liquid cleaning solution…and we’ll ask you to do the same. Hand washing and sanitation are our best defense against the spread of pathogenic bacteria.
Your personal BloBar file and buffer pack…
To ensure the highest level of your protection we offer you a brand new re-sealable file and buffer pack at each and every visit. These are disposable items which should never be stored in airtight boxes-allowing pathogenic bacteria to grow and multiply…
NO Whirpool foot baths!
There have been numerous documentaries spotlighting the dangers of whirlpool jet footbaths. These types of pedicure tubs have been linked to leg amputations, staph infections causing flesh eating disease. The piping is coated in biofilm which is an algae-like coating containing a build up of skin, blood, product oils and waxes…Biofilms are only removable by a plumbing professional. At the BloBar we use a unique shell liner for each pedicure so that you never dip your precious toes into someone elses bacteria!
Metal Implement Sterilization…
At The BloBar, we use a special liquid sterilant called Accel by Virox. Accel is widely trusted by Ontario hospitals as a broad spectrum sanitizer and chemo-sterilant. After removal from accel, our metal implements are then placed in a sealed hygienic steri-pouch for your safety.
Waxing Protocol …
At The BloBar, we never double-dip! We believe your experience should be safe and enjoyable. A new spatula will be dipped for each and every application of hard or soft wax…We are college trained pros who would never dare to use roll on applicators or reused wax on our clients.
